Best bang for 0-30

So I am happy with my top speed, but whats the best bang for the buck besides a turbo To increase 0-30 time. Its the low end grunt I am looking for...torque

Clutching brings up another point I want info on. I was told the RZR-S is clutched great as long as you keep the OEM wheel size... however I was at China Wall in Glamis on a forum ride and a guy went up China in a stock powered RZR-S (so he said) with nothing more than a clutch kit and rear paddles. What the hell was he running for a clutch?

I'm thinking a good port/polish and a/f controller and clutch work and I should be good to get where I want and be reliable and possibly a new top end as I am pushing the 2000 mile mark.

There is a saying in Drag Racing that goes like this "There is NO replacement for Displacement"! ;):D

PB, trust me, the 900 would be on lock but it won't fit in my toy hauler or 6x12 enclosed day run trailer and I am not about to get a new SXS, and 2 trailers. My "S" is a great SXS and I am happy with everything except my power out of the hole. Who's this Dale guy and DDP? Have a #? Hows Brev... he has been MIA?

A good clutch is hard to beat, but yes you have to know your stuff! Call Dale at DDP and buy the adjustable one and experiment a little, but Dale will get you close! Or buy an XP900! Up Sand Dam without a problem!

agree clutching helps, but a 686 rhino smokes sand damn, it ain't nothin even for bone stock rzr-S or 4 seat teryx with just suspension.

cam and cluch combo is what you can do to improve low end. next maybe a larger TB and fuel controller. the S- exhaust is pretty good already, so IMO there would no need to change that Moss.

if you do other motor mods, you need to cluch it afterwards, not the other way around, or you will end up changing it again.

my XP fits on a 6x10, so why wouldn't it fit your 6x12??? height??

doorway... height I can fix with a cage but the door is 62" wide. The bigger issue is the toy hauler... 23' Fleetwood Nitrous and I have 2" length wise to the first cabinet with my "S" to spare.

Just drop the money and go with a holz bb kit you will love it.I'm in same boat you are in with toyhauler I bought mine and xp came out 2 weeks later and garage is only 9' my s just fits in by a inch or so.think I might just buy the stroker crank and maybe makin trax trailing arm kit and keep my rzr till yamaha drops something.at least I hope they bring something out

I emailed Chris at Benchmark to see what he thinks... Problem is a correctly built BB engine with crank, etc. is back to the cost of a turbo engine... minus the turbo lag.

stock rzr steel wheels may make the 62" width, but length, not sure you could ramp enough to gain 9-10" off the bigger XP to fit.
