2018 BITD Vegas To Reno UTV UPDATES.. Anyone care?

I will be home for the first time in a long time for this race. I am going to do my best to post updates as I get them from our team around the course and in the air. Service is always hit and miss so hopefully it will be consistent. Its never as good as when I am there, but hopefully out guys can get me the stuff I have asked for as often as possible.

With that said, hopefully you guys care... hahaha I know the bulk of who do are at the race. But for those who aren't hopefully we can share intel and talk smack like the good old days of the UTVUG forum!

This is such a difficult race to manage. The challenges never seem to end. It takes a very well prepared team to put it all together.

Sims got way out front and Lambert is a man on a mission nipping on Sims heals.

I would suggest that the loss of a tracker just makes it more difficult for the team. Do you send your chase assets ahead as planned or hold up until you get eyeballs on the racer. Communication in northern Nevada is very spotty.

Yes I have been to Baja and I did not take anything away from it but I do not believe that the only real desert racing is in Mexico.

Blurton isn't on tracker but is being scored on corrected. he's down on time. Gastel is tracking but not on corrected so not sure where he actually is but for sure he is down as Lambert, Sims, and Carver are pushing hard
