We thought the fuel pump was going out and didn't have a spare, Thank you Mark Holz, he offered us a spare pump, although it turned out to just be stopped up again, changed the filter and we were off racing. Car ran flawless the rest of lap 1, we came in for a driver change and refuel, during the pitstop some fuel spilled on the header and caught fire. Special Thanks to the guys at Blue Torch Fab and Coastal Racing for responding in seconds with 4 fire extinguishers. Thanks to them the damage was only cosmetic and no one was injured. Thanks to our sponsors, Method Race Wheels, GMZ Race Products and Trail Armor. We've already started tearing the car down for repairs and will be back for the Mint400.
