2011 Rally On The Rocks - Moab, UT Pictures & Updates

Those are some awesome pics, hey what happen to the XP how did it go over.

simply put, trailing arms....if the front end is light and an arm catches you spin that way...the XP has a definite disadvantage in the rock crawling department due to that design...

Great pictures Joey, Woody and Jon!!!

Well just finished replacing our second CV in two day.

THANK YOU Reid!!!!!! Our trip would have ended twice now with out Team Green!!!

I think I found the problem so I hope this is the last for a while....

(as long as I stay away from the obstacle course)

Good times!!!

Brett & Katie

Well guys it is 11:00pm here in Moab and I just got back to the hotel. So no new pics tonight. Much too tired. But let me give you a bit of a rundown on what we did today.

Our buddy Casey currie made it in last night to ride today and tomorrow with us. We all met at the arena and took our police escort to the trail head for Cliff Hanger. We had a huge group so the trail ride took all day. Only 1 roll over on the trail which I did get on video!!! Later in he day Reid ska Team Green, myself, and Brett aka Cuflipn did the obstacle course where Reid would also roll (all is ok) and Brett would shatter another cv cage due to his bad ass ram steering set up which can really turn the wheels. Thankfully Reid aka Kawasaki had him dialed in with another cv.

In all the day was awesome. The event is going off and the trails here are like no other. There is plenty more to tell but I M falling asleep while I type this on my phone.

Nice to meet everyone today!!!!! See you all tomorrow. Btw Woody...you kick ass!!!

Getting ready to head out on Gold Bar/Golden Spike Trail. Thanks for the show yesterday Reid, Joey and Brett.... See you guys at the drivers meeting.

Well here are some pics from Wednesday's run up and down the trail Cliff Hanger. You will see in some of the shots as to why that trail carries that name. It was an awesome run, no major carnage, and everyone had a blast. Crowley's WARN winch got a serious workout having to pull the Commander and RZR XP's up obstacles!!!

So yesterday (Thursday) our posse consisting of myself, Reid Nordin, Jeff Knoll, Jon Crowley, Casey Currie, Dave Lamorie, Woody, Dean, and Bob headed out to tackle an area and trail that no other UTV on record has yet to attempt and or conquer. We headed out to Area BFE on our own to go see just how far we could push these UTV's. The results were impressive needless to say. We were able to run all the way up the trail known as Green Day and conquer the infamous HELLDORADO trail complete with the huge waterfall that even most trucks winch up. Yes we winched but to get to that waterfall in itself was a mission and it came with some body damage to all the UTV's that went for it! UTV history was made!!!!!

Moab is incredible! From completely mild to nearly impassable you can find it and experience it in Moab. Don't let these extreme pictures detour your from attending this event in the future. It is well worth the drive no matter where you are coming from.

The people you'll meet are first class and the scenery can not be topped! It gets better each year I attend. Thanks to all we played with and for Grandpa's Garage for the place to relax and repair!
