looks like a puller fan on the belt exhaust. whats that big box for? just a way to mount the fan?

also, at high rpms, would the clutches push more air out than the fan is pulling?

I think that is a GNCC car which would make sense because they usually are going slower than desert racers. Still extremely fast for the terrain they are racing in but I bet they hardly ever really open them up.

yes it is for GNCC.

i been watching a lot of their videos. the racing i will be doing will be a mix of that plus some more open areas.

think i would need a CVT fan?

in 12 at KOH LOTs of guys were going through belts. This year we put a bilge blower on our belt case and raced to the finish, preran, and it is still going by keeping it cool! $20 bilge blower cut inline in an hour FTW

Thanks, I went ahead and ordered one. I with with the 4" @ 250Cfm.
Box outlets and inlets are 3.5" so I figure I can stretch the rubber a bit instead of going smaller.

Did you run a filter on the inlet?

We put it inline and still had the factory polaris side panel on, so it has the gauze filter in the bedside, so, yes, kind of.

Good deal. I got a 3.5" clamp on K&N filter for the inlet today

putting a filter on inlet will cause a belt to break real soon. you need to force air through not restrict it
