Vegas To Reno

The biggest off road race in the country is only two weeks away and this place is quiet. We have the largest class in the field with 42 cars.
I sure wish that we could have qualifying for starting positions. I would much rather start based on skill than luck of the draw.

49 in the field... dont forget Unlimited Pro and Sportsman... the starting positions issue has been debated to death.. unlike the unlimited classes.. Most UTV teams cant take an extra day to do qualifying and dont have the resources to fix or re-prep from qualifying the car just before a race.

Wasn't forgetting about them, I was just saying that the 1900 class has more entries than any other class.

It is just wishful thinking about qualifying. I am not so sure I would like to start in front at a race like Vegas to Reno anyways. I think it is much easier to pass a UTV than a larger car or truck. The truck guys do not like getting passed by the UTV's at all..

if you dont want to qualify or dont have the time then dont .. I think its bullshit that we dont get to qualify

Cory S and Joey D needs to suggest qualifying for the UTV's at all BITD races. Most won't show but the majority of the "in the points" teams will.......for sure.

No one cares about my opinion. I have say at utvwc and some influence at mint and that's it. It's time for the racers to speak up and demand what they want.

The problem is, they won't. Everyone likes to talk big on here, myself included, but no one will actually stand together and do anything about it.

But really I threw out a couple of thoughts to They the other day and they where very open to possible change in the near future but as it stands they said we will be doing a 50 car wide free for all land rush start at V2R and knowing I will have one of the only Turbo RZR 1000s they said I will lead the pack out of the start
so it will be me then it will look like this

We are up to 44 in class 1900 and 50 total UTV's.

Thanks for the heads up re: washouts, I hope most of the washouts will have rounded edges and will be clearly marked by the time we get there during the race.
