After a stellar showing at the 2013 Baja 500, the Pro UTV class decided to show the world of off-road that UTVs were here to stay, and in a huge way! Over 19 UTVs would take the green flag at the 2013 Baja 1000. Some would say this was the toughest Baja 1000 to date, others said no way a UTV could finish. Polaris factory teams Coastal Racing, Jagged X, and Cognito Motorsports took this as a direct challenge!

Not only did the UTVs finish, they finished in convincing fashion proving to everyone that UTVs are not only formidable machine to take on the worlds toughest off-road race, but also a machine that could complete this grueling challenge in a time frame that would be on par with some of the sports most elite racing classes!

Take a ride with UTVUnderground.com as we chase the UTVs from Ensenada and back during the 2013 SCORE Baja 1000!

As always Joey thank you for all the hard work. Without you and Rusty there would be virtually no coverage of these events and we all owe you both a big thank you!
