Used truck under 15k

Not trying to be a ford hater just maintain a huge fleet all fords except are heavies.(have my degree in diesel tech if it meens anything) I wouldnt touch any newer ford diesel 6.0,6.4, the 6.7 is holding up ok except some minor issues. The 7.3 is the best of the ford diesels. Personaly i would go 2010 or newer dodge. Mine was great and flawless and would get way better mpg than another of the diesels, 16mpg towing a 10k trailer and 22mpg + daily driving. Also it is the only diesel without the uria injection for emittions.

You can for around 20k. Ive been looking myself. Or a early 2000 for 15k.

Looking to spend nothing over 15k. More thinking 13-14k range. I love the 7.3 but how many miles is too much?

Around a 100k is good and will have plenty of life left in it. Maintance is key with that truck and no mods.

John...7.3 is up your alley...my neighbor has one thats lifted on 38's from the first week he boght it..380000 miles and runs awesome...normal maintenance.

I have a 2000 7.3 f350 4x4 crew with 60k( very low miles) miles for sale it has lots of stuff, Rancho 4in lift ,pro comp xtreme 37 in tires,17 in steel wheels, AGR rock ram steer assist, banks turbo and exhaust, rear air bags with in cab control 5 gal tank, safari guard front winch bumper, reuhnel rear winch bumper rear locker 4.56 gears, cryo treated brake rotors, Mcniel fiberglass front fenders painted factory color matched. I had a RBP programer on it but when I took it in to get smogged the ford dealership fried the ECM and had to replace it with a new one, after that the RBP program wouldn't work because the code was different. It also has a ATS transmission built for towing but I have bought a 7.3 excursion and was planning on swapping tranny's.

16,000 without the ATS 19,000 with the towing tranny

I would also trade for a 2011/12 xp
