Undercarriage protection accessories

I live in southern Baja so most of my riding will be done here. I am planning to purchase a razor 1000. There are a lot of products for undercarriage suspension protection but I do not seem to see many people that have purchased or installed on their razors. Do you think they are necessary for this desert area ? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes some sort of under belly protection is a must.
UTV Inc and Factory UTV and a few more out there have them. I run UTV INC's on two of mine.
