I have a skat track hauler with a tear in the side that is not patchable. I am going to run a tube. Has anyone had any experiece doing this? Any negatives?
Depending on the size of the cut you can patch it first the install the tube. Sometimes a little vulcanizing rubber cement over the patch after the patch is installed helps too. The tube will make the tire slightly less flexible and a little heavier but it will work.
