Thats not all.... Polaris RZR #XP1K is COMING!

Cool! Thanks for the info. Yeah I was just wondering what the relationship was. Many times when the manufactures own vehicles like this they are built for a specific promo, and once done & over they are shelved, dismantled or just never to be seen again. At least with a private owner we have hopes of seeing these vehicles in action later on.

We have lots of ideas and plans for the XP1K machines!!

What's your point? Do you think XP1K is about an engine?

Obviously not about engine .
heres a Video from Dunefest of a 900XP with Big Horns knobbie dirt tires(driven by Joe duner) VS the XP1000 with Fullertons Paddle tire and Im gonna guess a Professional Racer driving it.

The 900 was driven by Dana Creech i think. Based on this photo of Dana in his RZR900. The driver of the RZR1000 is RJ Anderson. Dana is not affraid to lay into his RZR.

Can't wait to see the vid JD! :D

BTW...personally I don't get paddles and smoothies on a 4wd vehicle. Makes no sense to me.

We wanted to try the paddles out so Dave (Fullerton Sand Sports) hooked us up. Personally I think we all thought the knobbies were a better set up however Dave will get these sand tire combos dialed for the 1000. He was guessing at it .

Video drops.. IN MINUTES!!

The smoothies actually still grab in sand quite a bit. Theres a video on youtube where a RZR ran smooties on all 4 corners to prove it and it did pretty well. In the dunes you want the light weight flotation the smoothies give.

Great video...let's blow it up on Facebook! Woot...woot!

Mosslager...I an certainly not a 'nub' in the dunes. I have run both combos and IMHO I don't get the paddle smoothie pairing. It is like being in a fist fight, having two hands and only using one. Personally, I think it is just easier to run beadlocks and air down to 4 psi and let 'er rip! :)

Sorry if I came off wrong. I still hang in the dunes fine on my Big Horns aired down to 5psi on all four corners.

I like the ribbed tires on front of my RZR in the sand.
Good for steering and easier on the front diff than a traction tire.

some of the videos in this thread are what I posted from Dunefest...

I uploaded the vids again now that I am near a better internet connection so they are in HD now. And I added another video I had:
