Team Bradco rolled into Primm Valley Nevada for round 2 of the WORCS series with a mission. Corbin and Cody spent the two weeks between round 1 and 2 prepping their machines for the roughest race of the season. Primm Valley is a desert landscape with a very sandy base. Once 100 plus UTV's get out there and start tearing off laps the holes turn to ditches.
Corbin running a Polaris XP900 in the in the production 1000 class presents a few challenges. The 900 is slightly underpowered and does not handle the rough stuff as well. But Corbin drove a smart race pushing the car where he could and holding back in spots to save the equipment. Out of the gate he was in 5th place. By the end of lap 1 he worked his way into 3rd and was able to hold this position for the 45 minute moto. " This was the roughest track I have ever driven on. My GBC Tires kept the car hooked up in the sand and my FOX shocks gave me the control I needed to get on the box."
With a DNF in round 1 Cody would have to start from the second row. He still felt his Sparks Racing engine could get him back to the front early in the race. While running well inside the top ten the primary clutch on Cody's car let go causing him to loose a belt. He quickly jumped out and changed the belt. Shortly after getting going again another belt busted due to a broken primary clutch. Cody would be forced to sit on the side of the track and watch the race go by. Its been a rough start to the 2015 season. This team is here for the long haul. Team Bradco will be back in the race shop this week getting the machines ready to travel to Laughlin for the UTVWorldChampionship where both drivers will start well inside the top 15.
