ROUND #1 RESULTS - SUPERLITES B
Ewan McClue has taken victory in the Superlite B (Turbo Class) at Round 1 of the SXS Australian Championship in Albury. Driving a brand new Canam Maverick X3, McClue held off the hard charging #619 Polaris RZR Turbo of Cody Crocker to take the win by one point, with a total of 38 points to Crocker's 37 points. Also debuting a CanAm, #698 Peter Carr finished third with a total of 34 points. The fastest lap of the weekend went to #607 Nathan Weissel, who clocked a 1:55.8 around the AWMCC - Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club track.
Congratulations to Dan McKenzie on winning the Superlite A (Non Turbo Class) at the opening round of the SXS Australian Championship this weekend in Albury. McKenzie amassed a total of 39 points to take the win in his #5 Yamaha, ahead of the #668 Yamaha of Ivan Szkut in second on 37 points and the #44 Polaris of Tom Evans in third on 34 points. Evans posted the quickest lap in the class during the 6 heats of racing, a 1:59.2 seconds.
