Full on race weekend coming up this Saturday and Sunday..

This weekend is the last round of the lucas oil regional series located @ Glen Helen,CA on Saturday. Glen Helen will hold one of the ITP QUAD CROSS SERIES on Sunday and there will be a class for UTV'S!!!!

What kind of course is the QuadCross race?

they run us on the main motocross track with a gate start. Its like 40 or 50 dollars to race and we get a practice and i think 2 4 lap races. they track is wide with usually just table tops and some sort of a hill climb with a down hill section but a couple of tight radius turns. they dont have much requirements for a tech other than a cage, seatbelts, and a helmet and goggles so pretty much even the guys with stock setups can get in the action!

That Quad Cross race sounds like a blast, Ive run some MX with a quad series up here and loved it. My have to plan a trip down there soon. Thats cool that ITP is offering a class for us. Hope some of you guys that live closer take advantage of this.

Watch the deep sandy ruts in the tight corners on the quadcross track - they can snap a steering rack if it's not a good one! Quadcross is fun.....I have raced up/down Mt. St. Helens before in my Rhino - talk about pucker factor!
