SR1 Chassis build

Sadistic Iron Werks
We are building the SxS from the ground up. We here at Sadistic Iron Werks have a slightly different approach to building a SxS. This one came to us as a bare frame. We removed almost everything mounted on the factory chassis, through it up on the jig, and extended it 13 inches.

check it out and let us know what ya think

thanks guys. yes we are making our own +6 kit w/+2 in the front and rear with an overall wheel base of 92". We make almost everything inhouse, lets us control our designs and speed of completion, and we are located in Hesperia, Ca.

Our main bread and butter is trucks so when we were approached to build a BITD rhino we went with it. Our design aspect is not like any others as you can see with this build.

with all our calcs it should be close 200 over stock. the frame has been extended and the cage should be score legal, pending a tech inspection. we would rather be have the client safe then under structualize the chassis. Racing BITD poses a risk of being hit by much larger and faster vehicles, so safety is number one

well we got the cage pretty much wrapped up just have to finish up the lower rear and bumpers. just waiting of the r1 engine to show and the weller sr1 kit. what ya guys think so far?

sorry for the lack of updates. we are waiting on our weller kit to finish it up. we have the rear bumper done and spare mounts though

Its cool looking! Knowing what my car weights I bet its 1700+#s is race ready form.

We have a bet going on from 1630-1750. The owner wants it a little heavier then normal. He comes from racing class 9's and hates the bucking from the lack of weight. I guess we will see when its done and filled with gas.
