POLARIS RZR® FACTORY RACING ANNOUNCES INDUSTRY LEADING RACE CONTINGENCY FOR RZR DRIVERS AND A NEW SxS PURCHASE PROGRAM

RZR XP Turbo Awarded to Highest-Placing Driver in Each Designated Series and Class at Select Races, Eligible Drivers can Join Team RZR

Minneapolis (April 12, 2018) – Polaris RZR® Factory Racing is now offering RZR drivers an unmatched contingency program for select race series. Each contingency series winner will be awarded a 2018 RZR XP Turbo. Qualifying racers will also be eligible to join Team RZR, giving them access to its industry leading purchase program. These programs are designed to support privateer RZR racers.

RZR has powered the most dominant race team. Within the last two seasons, Polaris RZR Factory Racing has amassed more than 45 wins and 122 podiums. That success, coupled with this year’s electric start, has attracted significant interest from privateers to race RZR.

“After a historic run last season, and a podium-filled start to 2018, we want to extend our support outside of the factory teams, awarding top privateer racers who drive RZR’s in 2018,” said Matt Boone, RZR and GENERAL Marketing Director at Polaris. “We have received enthusiastic feedback from privateer racers looking to capitalize on their success, and what better way to reward top racers than to offer an industry-leading contingency program.”

I have ran a few BITD races and now fully supporting my sons efforts in the WORCS series. As everyone know's any racing take's a lot of money to prep the cars, I would like to see Polaris Factory support for parts needed to compete and chase a championship.
This year my son Randy Nix is leading points in his first year competing in WORCS production 1000 class. We are aiming for a championship in the class and stepping up to Pro Stock next year and I am sure the parts list will grow with the intensity these Pro WORCS racers run at. One problem we have is it's a 3 week turn around from race to race, this doesn't leave you a large amount of time to clean inspect and order parts that usually come from back east. With shipping times and availability a lot of these parts are installed at the track because you run out of time. Being a old school desert racer I want this car at 100% prior to each race but it's tough. Without support the only way I can see to eliminate this issue is to have either a parts car sitting at home or $10,000 in inventory of parts (motors, tranny's, clutch's, hubs etc) this is where I think some Factory help would be a large benefit for the Privateer.
We are enjoying the WORCS series, alot due to the Racers themselves. Everyone is willing to share secrets and tips and if you need a part at the races you will usually be able to find it from someone. See you at the Race's!

Totally agree. As a privateer myself, I am grateful for the support that Polaris gives to racing. Our sport has more product support than any other class by a long ways. However, the structure of the program only supports those that already have all the support they need. I would love to see a racer parts program. That way it benefits anyone racing their product. I have actually e-mailed Polaris a couple of times about this but have never got a response.....

I would like to see the Women's class included especially since the picture used above is of the WORCS Women's class taken from last season. I also agree on the parts program as we are chasing a championship this year and it takes a lot of replacement parts to stay competitive.

It seems like Polaris is helping a lot of privateer teams this season with parts. I don't think they could help everyone that decides to go racing lol but I know they keep a very close eye on the all the racers out there that are doing good and have a good social media presence. At the end of the day they are a business and want return on their investment. We are great full for the help they have provided us this season
