Had a good ride on sat at Cow Mt. Five great looking XP's and one okay looking RZR4 (mine)

. DartersRacing, DarterDad, gamdrvr, gamdrvr's dad, (these are r z r forum guys) and two of their friends. As we unloaded at the staging area an ambulance came driving up the hill. Then the rescue chopper came circling. On our first trail we passed where the chopper landed and then up the trail a ways we ran into two medics who were hiking in. We gave them a ride. Two dirt bikes had hit head on and one of the guys had been unconscious for a while. His nose looked broken and he was pretty out of it once he was conscious. We gave him and the medics a ride out to the chopper where they had to convince him to take the chopper ride. He was pretty out of it. He kept saying to one of the medics every couple minutes "Hey I know you".

After we dropped him off we rode some great trails. Lots of rocky climbs, some fast and some technical. As usual Donnie did his traditional hitting of the dirt bike rider. Good times.

Then we got to the 4x4 obstacle course. I tried to go up the waterfall and broke a rear axle. After getting towed up Claude (DarterDad) helped me rig up some wire and hose clamps to hold the axle in place. Thanks Claude. Thanks Steve for the wire too.

I was able to limp it back to the truck and finished the day taking turns with Donnie driving his XP. My first time driving an XP and I was very impressed with the power. I did get us into a pretty hairy situation when my rear tire fell in a very deep ditch. The rzr4 would have been able to just climb out of it but the XP almost went over. Took three guys hanging on the hood to keep it from rolling.
Those guys got to ride again today and I'm sure they had a good time.
This is the guy that got choppered out. As I was driving him out he said "I'm done with these bikes, I'm getting a rzr".
