PHOTOG/Chase Truck Build.

UTVUG PHOTOG
Well a few months ago I sold me 1994 F350 Flatbed UTV Hauler. I bought a 2002 F350 and have been driving it for a few months. I love it but I want more out of it.

A few weeks back I was rear ended by a lady and it caused very little damage to my truck.

Insurance paid me $2000 for that. I figured this was a good time to start a build on the truck. I found this Stahl Service bed on Craigslist for $650.

The plan is to set this bed up for photo chasing. I will carry some basic tools on the passenger side boxes but for the most part it will be set up as a media chaser.

I want to have the bed color matched to the cab. I found this truck for inspiration.

Today I was able to build a sketchy rack to hold the bed.

Using my camera lights as shop lights I was able to remove the bent bumper and damaged rear panel.

I have been super busy. I added some LED tail lights today. I installed them vertically so they would fit between the shelf mounts in the cabinet. I plan to install the bed on the truck tomorrow.

Nice, can't wait to see this all come together. Brilliant idea for a media chase truck

I found a few hours to work on the truck today.

MDF Center Console to hold Rugged Radio system. I really like the cool face plate kit.

I removed the stock dome light assembly. I made some minor modifications with a Dremel and installed an A-Series light in it. The first photo is stock and second pic has A-Series "Cool White" fixture.

Some lights are never bright enough for me. So I took some Rigid Ind A-Series lights and made them fit into my stock dome light housings. They are still powered by the door switch or I can turn them on manually.

I used a Dremel to clearance the stock assemble to fit the new light.

The new setup looks great and has plenty of light now.

I got my lights all wired up. Very happy.

Factory Fog light replacement kit and 4 Dually D2 XL Hyperspots. I went with Hyperspots because when chasing I need to see really far down the road.
