Well, we got 19 bad ass UTVs lined up and ready to take on this bitch of a race! Friggen course is insane, but the competitors are locked and loaded and ready for battle.

UTVUnderground.com has a massive crew, 19 in all, 6 trucks and more cameras and lenses than even I can count. Our goal, track the UTV's as far as we can and as closely as we can.

We will do what we can to update throughout the day, but you guys know the routine with tracking on IRC, Race-DeZert.com, and Score-International.com.

For now, check out our photos from Contingency and be ready for the craziest UTV desert race ever tomorrow!!

Live tracking has tanked so its up to you Joey to keep us in the know...no pressure ;)

Hes updating on the UTVUG FB page, might be easier for him at this point.

Sitting at mama espinosas waiting patiently...

Really is a bummer tracking has been so terrible. ..

Jagged X 1932 is the dirt utv through RM220 at Zoo Road in San Felipe. That was at 5:28. No other it's through yet and it's now 5:37.

Murray's in 3rd place came through at 6:07 and then another wildcat couldn't catch the number there are like 5 of them and Sappington in his Can Am right behind them both at 6:12. Still at rm220 zoo rd

Got word a short time ago, Kurt Caselli, KTM rider in class 22 has passed after having an accident in the Baja 1000. Word is that it was a boobie trap that caused the accident...
RIP Kurt!!

Joey, got anyone with eyes on the ground at the Hwy 1 crossing on the bottom of the loop? This from what I've been able to find, but needs confirmation. The race is close between the 1932, 1933, 1905, 1948 and 1904 cars.. no word on Sean Cook's car though.

With the 1900 UTVs coming up on the Hwy 1 Crossing, it looks like it's a close race between the 1933 Car of Hans Waage and Todd Romano and the 1932 Car of Matt Parks, with 1933 holding a slight lead. Current 3rd looks to be Kevin Fuller in the 1948 Arctic Cat Wildcat, followed closely by Marc Burnett in the 1905 Can Am and a little ways back is Scott Kiger in his Polaris, followed by Cory Sappington in the 1904 Can Am... once the guys cross Hwy 1, they will round the bottom of this years loop and head back towards Ensenada...

As per Danny Flower:
Danny Flower at cocos. hans park nut to butt
Sounds like the race is staying tight and fast for Polaris, Arctic Cat and Can Am is close behind...
At the halfway point, anyone can win...

Last intel I got was Matt Parks out front. Sappington moved into second and the 1934 of Coastal into 3rd and making moves. WOW!! I'm back at the hotel, gonna chill and try to track before charging back out on course.
