track was nasty, but fun had a blast and finished looking forward to round three. I felt that there were enough places to pass. the whole track can't be four wide. some of the track was narrow but most was atleast 2+ wide. as far as passing goes as long as the slower car i holding there line i think the faster car should earn the pass and when it's a 1000 passing a class 2 or 3 it shouldn't be that big of a deal. when your in 2 foot ruts going through huge whoops pulling off gets tricky.

Does anyone know how a dnf is called ? i was broke down for a period of 12 minutes but continued on and finished. But i see names of people who did not finish but finished higher in place . Thanks guys.

i just got to reading and from what i can see you only have to complete one lap to be free of a DNF . So i can see why some broke down rigs that didnt finish placed higher than me. Thats all good. Damn track was BRUTAL my car hates me lol

But i guess we should all have enjoyed it even how inaccurate this was. Im sure they spent a lot of time trying to figure it out for us. We can thank em for trying. Better than saying everyone finished with no standings but 15 points lol

I can only imagine the chaos of the worcs people trying to make a fair points for this race. Only time will pan out. I see the class 2 stuff looks pretty far off too from what i know.

Below are the OFFICIAL RESULTS from WORCS. I had a great conversation with Sean Reddish of WORCS tonight about the weekends events! 600+ entries between MX, ATV, and SXS racing, pretty amazing they could pull off what they did.
As for scoring, here is what we discussed. The timing system did fail, it failed due to being overloaded, it could not keep up with the amount of entries and time splits it had to calculate. The ONLY class to be affected by this failure was the Production 1000 class. However, the scoring system was able to calculate the top 5 in Production 1000. From there Sean made a decision that would still award those who did well with their points, and those who didn't do so well still made out. You will notice everyone after 5th place was listed as 6th place. If you did 5 Laps you were awarded 15 points, 4 laps 12 points, and 3 laps were given 7 points. This was the best solution to the only failure they have ever experienced with this system. WORCS is actively looking at a solution to ensure this will never happen again.
Again, thank you to Sean and the entire WORCS staff for putting on such a great event. Despite some normal race criticism the overall response from this event was amazing. If you have concerns over rules Sean encourages you to refer to the WORCS Rule Book: WORCS Rules and Regulations
If you have questions on race-day about your SXS or how the race works then please go to the trailer and ask to speak with Sean or an actual race official. If one person did not answer your question then ask another as not ever person in a WORCS shirt may know how the SXS races work as not all are involved in every aspect of the race itself. Each person there has a job and it may not be involving Tech or Race Related Rules/Organization.

Sounds fair for the circumstances. Glad i pushed forward to get my 3rd lap in. I broke an axle on lap one and took about 15 minutes to get rolling again. Then few minutes later i broke another rear leaving only front wheel drive. I babied her in for a finish

The 2 races i entered at Cal City last season, used an IRC tracker. It plotted you GPS route so it could see if you were off course and also tracked every lap and all elapsed time.
WORCS must step up to something like this, it is more money but we are all obviously entered for the competition, not just to have fun.
