OK that's hilarious.

I think it's the new one link suspension. The tire is connected directly to the shock, no links, and it is front wheel drive.

I see a ton of potential in this vehicle. someone will make it way bad ass and make it work very well. NOT so sure that this is the real sport Yamaha. we will find out very soon!

I see potential too. This new car makes me want to race a Yamaha again. I may be the last one to race and win a championship with a Yamaha Rhino. 2012 Unlimited Pro UTV. Wonder if they will do any factory sponsorship programs like the other big manufacturers.

I can't tell if those are swaybar links or something else. Just judging by the shock angle and placement in those photos it would seem an a-arm type set up.

Pros and cons all day long regarding A-Arms or Trailing Arms! Just glad they are and will be back in it. Their are a plenty of who can make an A-Arm car work just fine.

Regardless of Yamaha's intent, or marketing, based on the pic it looks to be more in the class of the rzr s1000 rather than xp. If it is indeed an A arm setup around 60" should have around 13" rear travel and hp numbers are close to the s1000. Maybe next year with long travel and a turbo, it will be the game changer. Either way I'm excited for the release.

It's a low quality picture which would leave you to believe it was taken on the down low, but was it leaked out legitimately because of the rzr turbo hype? Possibly, but I am pretty sure that there are several shops around so cal and az that must have them and that will have some work done to them by the ssss, as there are always newly released rigs that have been out for a very limited time with after market items on them, the can am for example a couple years ago. Anyhow, they are around and probably hiding in plain sight, we are just too focused on the actual nostalgia, not the obvious. Only another couple weeks but I am sure there will be some other creative leaks in the mean time, intentional or not?

Looking closer I do think it has trailing arms. Hard to tell in the photo but zooming in those have to be sway bar links. Still throws me off because of the rear shock angle. hmmmmmm??? Can't wait to release this thing!

I guess I'm having a hard time seeing it. Would the sway bar links automatically mean that the sway bar being mounted in that spot means it has trailing arms and not A-arms

My guess would be trailing arms. If you look at the pic it looks like the bottom of the car goes down toward the center of the wheel. I don't think the frame would do that, but a trailing arm would. As far as the shocks go, it is still possible to have them there and use a trailing arm. The shock can be attached to the lower radius rod. This would explain the shock location and what appears to be a trailing arm and sway bar link.
