I'm in the early stages of building a 4 seat turbo for BITD and have a couple questions. What is the consensus on fuel cell size and shape ? And what is the best width on the arms, I see a lot of people running a plus 3 and some running a plus 3.5 ...thanks for any advice

I run H Town Performance +4. I think Cognito is also +4. Lone Star is +3.5
Get something close to a 20 gal cell. I had an under the seat cell but with all the room you have lots of options. I have a 18 gallon cell w dual fuel pumps if your interested.

Who's built the cage?

Thanks for the reply George. We are having Pete at gs performance build it. He has built our 3 WORCS cars and they have been perfect. We run grounded 4 arms on our WORCS cars. They just came out with a plus 3 arm. Is that wide enough ? Or should we go wider ?

Prob most important thing is they don't break and you can get the axles and tie rods u want. I think +3 is prob ok on a longer wheelbase. When's the first race?

We are shooting for the pahrump race in October or the Parker race in December. Then start fresh for 2017 that's the goal at least

Our arms are +4...we are as wide as the rules allow and didnt leave anything on the table.

I personally prefer a wider suspension with a wheel as close to stock offset as possible. This is sometimes hard to achieve depending on what brands you are planning to run. In my opinion anything less than 20 gallons on the cell and you're wasting your time.

I am going to second Jake's comment. I would go big, especially if you are going to race Baja. We have a 30 in our NA car and our new Turbo build... Both Harmon. They are solid. Fuel planning is huge as it turns out. Go big. :-)
