It was awesome! Weather was perfect and the beer was flowin like water Did a nice hike down to the lake and had lunch while the dogs took a quick dip in the lake We did take one little ride up the ridge Friday night to catch the sunset and other than that, we just chilled and enjoyed life

Well, Jim got his a$$ handed to him is what happened @ Corral Canyon.

Made run 1 - no problem. 2nd hardest trail.

Stuck in run 2. this is the hardest trail. Shifter went out and couldn't use reverse. Ended up using a couple wrenches to be able to get reverse to get out of there.

Had a blast. Already know what the fix is.

Only me and a krawler buggy on this trail. Jeeps wouldn't try it but walked up to watch us. A Jeep with a winch went up part way to try and help. Got me part way unstuck but the rest was up to me and my 2 wrench shifter.

If it wasn't for the shifter problem, I think I could have made it all the way. Although there was one section I didn't get to see but they said where I was is the hardest part.

Right now, I'm thinkin I'm gonna scrap the whole shift mechanism I have and just with a straight arm off the tranny shift. It works really good and less moving parts to cause problems.

And since it's not gonna be an all day ride, it will give folks more time to chill and enjoy the Potluck before they head home Plus for those who have not done the Richie Rich Ridge Run They're in for a treat Now we just have to hope that Jim And Melissa come so we can enjoy their company and their wonderful heat source at night Cinco De Mayo Baby! George This was last July the one time I didnt have to work on Monday and all of you guys went home . Are you going up on Friday ? Friday around 7-8 for us and I liked the spot we were at last time .

I think he's gonna come. He and Melissa are in New Orleanes visiting a friend and doing some Gator hunting They don't return till Tuesday but I think he'll be ready for a trip I'm sure Jimbo will chime in soon I wanna see his car on the ridge trail, it will be awesome No gates to worry about

We might be going to devils hole pending the mood of the group but if we do he can drive around . Remind me what gator hunting is code for again.
