Click to expand... For your sand tires for the best flotation I would do 8" up front with the 10" wide in the rear. Here is a nice grip of info on our blog http://www.methodracewheels.com/blo...-utv-beadlock-first-look#sthash.fLkx4dxY.dpbs I would be ok with running 8" all the way around for dirt and sand if your on a budget. Always nice to have the comfort of a beadlock.

S socal2ks New Member Jan 5, 2014 #133 For tires I was planning on running 30in mongrels. Would the 14x10 on the rear be too wide? Id say im in the dirt/trails 80% of the time.

desertwheeler Extra Crispy Jan 5, 2014 #134 Yeah a 10" wide wheel would be too wide for mongrels. I don't like my 10" tire in the rear 8" wheel myself.

Goodtimes Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2014 #135 For Dirt and trail a 7/ 8" wide will wheel will work Ideal. The 10" works great for areas that you would like to get that extra flotation. Sand, mud or the washes is where that wider rim excels and is really set up for a 12/14" wide tire.
