Retired - And Still UTVUNderground Approved!!!!
Just a quick note, we made the trip up to the 2009 M4SX awards ceremony last night, nice to see such a good turn out on a Tuesday night. Good time.
Ran some laps, ate some pizza, and got to talk with a lot of people in a relaxed and air conditioned environment, very nice.
Man, I totally sucked driving a go kart, Code & I went to Barona Saturday and rode MX (which killed me) so when I got in the go kart by lap two I was in total arm pump lock up. Then BAM, get a little love tap, look back and there’s Moto Gary giving me the bump draft, sure looked like he was smiling when he did that…….
Anyway, I just wanted to thank Ken & Travis for the hard work they put in giving us a place to race.
Promoting is no simple task, dealing with whiney racers, parents, & insurance companies. Looking for $ponsor$, finding a suitable facility, and making it affordable in a failing economy. I’ve been involved in running MX races at two different tracks in the past, promoting is not easy, you do it because you love racing and if it REALLY goes well, you might even make enough money that pencils out to about a $1.50 per hour, and I’m being generous.
Good job guys, thank you.
Some photos I took with a crappy work camera since I forgot mine.
