LPNF Adopt A Trail Pre-Season RIDE & TENT Trip 4/27-4/28

Hey everyone, thanks for a great and safe trip!! I know the national forests always appreciate people who put in the hours and keep our trails cleaned up and rideable for the public. I REALLY appreciated everyone's excellent attitude (Even Larry), and effort in doing all the maintenance this weekend. PLEASE pat yourselves on the back!!
Randy, you are always welcome to join us for any riding!! I'm surprised you want to come back, considering how goofy we can be.
MVP goes to Bill a.k.a. GRUMPY for yanking, pulling, and moving trees this weekend. Bill is a one-man AAT machine!!! We need to put a huge John Deere Steeker on the side of his rzr4

Thanks for all the food, cooking, coffee support....etc......EXCELLENT!!!

The GREAT group we had this weekend

This was our first "Tent" only trip. It was pretty fun!! The weather was perfect.

Dave you did a great job putting this trip tougher and yes I think we will call Bill ''SUPER GRUMPY'' from now on .

WE ran across this downed tree that was 3/4 blocking the road / trail so we had got ''SG'' in place to use his winch which moved it out of the way enough so the Hercules crew could finish the job , YA ''TEAM WORK-WORKS'' .

HAT'S OFF TO DAVE FOR PICKING A NICE CAMPING SPOT plenty of flat ground and just in the right spot to get a little of a breeze.

Yea, Trevor kiks butt, and I was very impressed with all the kids that made the trip. Very respectfull, well behaved, and polite. You guys have done a great job with them!

One other thing I just have to say! I was almost disappointed that "Stumpy" is actually taller than me. I dunno, I was kind of expecting Stump to be a midget, or dwarf, or missing an arm, or sumthin like that. Yea I know, not PC, but then again I'm not PC but I definetly could relate to how he got his nickname because I did the same damn thing on a motorcycle, so he is a kindred spirit! But it was my motorcycle and not Dad's toy, lol. Got the damage paid off yet kid?

We worked on a ongoing project a water trough , that we had shoveled and drained some of the muck out and patched some of the bullet holes .
