Found a bunch of dirt on the throttle body butterfly. Some say I am going to have to do a new top end and others say just clean it out and ride. Did a stop engine check with my hand on the air inket behind the seat and rzr shut off. Thats good. But where the hell did the dirt come from? Lost. What should I do? Looks like I might not be able to make this trip.

Which car do ya have, an 800 or 900? I had the same problem on my 800 with the stock filter. I took the throttle body off and cleaned it really good then replaced the stock filter with a UMP. 6000 miles later she's still purring like a kitten

800. What should I clean the throttle body with? Carb cleaner.where csn I get an ump system that doesnt have sn open end. Is utv inc just as good and they use donaldson filters I think?
I sold my ump a while back. I still run an UMP filter on my rzr. Just slightly bigger due to turbo. I highly recommend them.

If there are no symptoms of damage (using oil, smoke, etc.) then just clean it out, tighten stuff up and ride! It should be fine...
Yes, get the one from UTV Inc. very nice unit and uses the Donaldson filter. Buy a can of Throttle Body cleaner. The donaldson filter is awesome! I remove it and blow it off after every trip and it works great
Usually buy a new one each year. Also get a can of Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner to spray on the T-Bap sensor each time you clean the filter. Largly because it will be relocated from the rubber boot between the filter and throttle body to inside the new filter housing.Yes, get the one from UTV Inc. very nice unit and uses the Donaldson filter. I purchased an ump from side by side. Where can I get that mass air flow sensor spray?

Wow... one little transmission problem and it's gone! Kinda harsh...
I know...hope the T4 doesnt develop any issues.....or I'll be at the Can Am store next

Got an ump. On the throttle body which one is the t bap sensor.
