Intercom for non wired helmets?

Have you guys come up with anything to allow a non wired helmet to use the intercom? If I wasn't in California this wouldn't be a problem, as i would just have a headset. I've seen some cheapo kits before that have a single head phone connected to a microphone which would work great if it were able to be wired to the regular intercom connector. That way when ever someone with out a wired helmet gets into the passenger seat you can have them simply slip it into the ear pocket and away you go. But I haven't been able to find anything online.

I am using the wiring kit from pci in my dirt bike helmet works perfect with my radio and intercom. Easy to put in and take out. Plugs right into the radio and intercoms

I talked to BlackRhinoJesse our communications specialist about this and he said not that he has seen....... I know we have this and it only takes about 15min or so to install........ $125.00....... You could have an extra in the glove box and it doesnt need to be "installed" in the helmet to be used.......

If you have some time give Jesse a call 619-561-5000.........

Gotta Love the Cali rules!

try the rugged radio ear bud setup. and they have the ipod connector also. were on sale recently.

Is this what your talking about?? THis might work as long as it holds in pretty well with your cheek pad.

May be totally off base but I use the "chatterbox" type Bluetooth setup on mine and my passengers helmets, I got the "Interphone" brand, They work awesome even when racing, no buttons to push all voice activated, and you can have your phone ring in then just push the button on the little unit that is mounted on your helmet to answer the call. You can also listen to your music via Bluetooth from your phone or MP3 player. Batteries last about 12 hours. Cost about $300 for the pair

We also carry that .....$89.95

It is the same as what I showed above but it is with out the helmet speakers.....Meaning you would also need the earbuds to go with it......... I think it is less $$$$$$$ in the long run to go with the original one I posted.....

I'm surprised there aren't more wireless options. Seems perfect for KOH to be able to communicate with the spotter out of the car.
