I called method and was told its 90 days until a wheel will be ready for the yxz. I have methods on all my other utvs but dont want to wait that long. Hiper can have them ready to go in a few weeks. Can anyone tell me anything negative with going with the hiper?

Bad about busting centers out. Not worth the risk. Much better wheels for the money IMO. Check out the Raceline Mamba. Bead lock wheel, light, and good price. uploadfromtaptalk1441819199993.jpg

I had hypers on my old car and the only thing I didnt like about them was they would start leaking at the centers. It wasnt a big deal to fix if you didnt mind dismounting the tire. Over all they are nice. We run methods on everything now.

Price? i am not sure as i have not priced up utv wheels in awhile but i always remember hypers being pricey

They are 4/110 bolt pattern .. Just good ole rhino wheels will
Work 15s might be hard to find in a used wheel for the rhino

I run Hiper wheels on my car and they do have a great concept for a wheel but it does not hold up the centers do break I have broke them many times and they do not want to warranty them for any reason their customer support is the worst on this planet they are a terrible company I even milled their name off the new centers I had to buy because they wouldn't warranty them I hope they go out of business and someone else buys the company and redesigns the wheel cause I do believe they do have a great idea for a product but just from the customer service alone ruins the company name I will never do business with this company and again and I will tell everyone I know the same thing its not bad mouthing a company its the facts I have the pictures and videos of the car going 15mph when breaking sad thing is its gonna take a loss of life and a law suit to make them open their eyes to see what kind of danger their selling to the public

How many guys are actually looking at these weights when purchasing wheels! Very much considering getting back into building wheels.

Raceline makes a great wheel!! We run these on our SR1s and they hold up to a crap ton of abuse!

In about 90 days you will have a Wheel from Method Race Wheels that will fit the 4/110 I am pretty excited that we will finally have something for the SR1 Crew and the Yamaha/ Honda 4-110 bolt patteren UTVs. Hey it where it has all started from. The good ole 660, 24HP days. In the last 5 years We have had great success, not just limited to trophy tucks, pro trucks and buggies but in UTVs we have Champions in the WORCS, BITD, LUCAS Oil, GNCC, SCORE and many other race venues. Winning and proving our wheels with a few championships to boot in the UTV as well
There are some nice wheels out there for sure. All of the mentioned wheels have there good points and are great wheels from great MFGs

What I really like about the Method 401 UTV Race wheels that I don't see in others is the load rating. The 401 has a 1600lb load rating where the others have a 600lb to 1100lb. To me in a racing environment where you are stressing your UTV / SR1 out to the max, I would think that this would be the up most if importance.

Next is the technology. The I beam inner lip construction with and additional 1.27" of extra meat to support the extra abuse is a win, win in my book plus if you look at the bead hump it has a different degree on the mounted side to keep the tire on in max stress conditions. This helps keep the weight down of not having to add a dual beadlock and the added weight.

Weight with one of the lightest wheels on the market the 401 in a 14" comes in at 14.2lbs with a billet ring and Grade 8 hdw Most wheels are 1-4 lbs heavier and don't have the strength to back it up let alone the added above technology and this is just a few of the key features.

Price point for what you get is awesome, Retail. $201.50 for the 14" If you have any questions please feel free to ask or PM me or call. I am here to help. My Cell is listed below

I don't think the old Rhino wheels clear the calipers though. I hear they need to be 14" minimum.
