Heading to the Grand Canyon with Arctic Cat!!!

Well Underground, I depart tommorow (Monday the 14th) to Mesquite, NV where from there I will embark on a 3 day off road adventure with Arctic Cat and UTVUnderground's own WallyWorld of Americas Adventure Tours on assignment for UTV Off Road Magainze UTV Off-Road Magazine :: Everything Side-By-Side for the Off-Road Enthusiast and UTV Guide .

I will get the opportunity to drive the all new line up of 2011 Actic Cat Prowlers through some of the most beautiful terrain mother nature has to offer. I dont know a ton about the trip except that I know lots of the Undergrounds friends like Team Green, Grant@Funco, Crowdog, Mike L., and WallyWorld have all done this trip and told me its the trip of a lifetime!

We get to camp overnight at the Bar 10 Ranch at the Grand Canyon cattle ranch and sleep in real covered wagons and enjoy a man vs. food type cowboy cookout! I cant begin to tell you how excited I am for this adventure.

I will report back when I return Friday with some details ont he trip but you will have to wait for the UTV Off Road Magazine to see the entire story!

I recomend this trip for everyone! It was aboslutly amazing!! Wally at Americas Adventure Tours (Side x Side Outfitterz) hosts these trips throughout the year and let me tell you, it was the best run I have ever been on in terms of an absolute off road adventure.

As a side note, if you plan to rife o the Toroweep Overlook on the north rim from the Bar10 you will need to have street legal plates on your vehicle. They are strictly enforcing this rule now and you will be stopped and possibly ticketed for up to $1100! You need to be street legal, and have proof of insurance to run the road from the Ranger Station to the Toroweep Overlook.

In addition to the Toroweap Overlook in Grand Canyon National Park, you need to have street legal vehicles on the National Park Service lands within Grand Canyon - Parashant National Monument. The National Park Service lands are clearly marked with signs.

Also, the county roads (Mohave County, AZ) require all vehicles to be street legal with licensed operators. These roads are identified with yellow road markers with blue and yellow decals.

These regulations are also strictly enforced within Grand Canyon - Parashant National Monument as well as Grand Canyon National Park.
