Gray Leadbetter Joins Walker Evans Factory Racing for UTV World Championship
Laughlin, Nevada, April 5 -8, 2018
BEND, Or. (April 2, 2018) – 13 year old female racer, Gray Leadbetter, announced today that she will be driving a Holz Racing Products/Walker Evans Racing/GBC Motorsports car at the upcoming Polaris RZR UTV World Championship, in Laughlin, Nevada, April 5 – 8.
Leadbetter, from Morganton, NC, is an accomplished racer with national kart championship wins, including being the first female to win a USPKS National in the IAME Junior division (2017) and she is the 2017 GoPro Motorplex Karting Champion. She is a skilled driver who has her own Ford Fiesta rally-style car and is the youngest person to drive in a Supercar at FlatOut in Sweden and at Dirt Fish Rally in Washington. She trains regularly at the Bondurant racing school in a Dodge Hellcat, a Dodge Viper, and a Formula Mazda, and is also the youngest to do so.
Leadbetter will be part of the Walker Evans Racing camp at the UTV World Championship, pitting along side RJ and Ronnie Anderson. She will race a Polaris RZR XP 1000 in the Pro Production Class, in the Short Course
