This is so bad ass. I am honored to call Gil, Grant and Greg friends as well as the entire Funco Family!! One of the coolest and most respected families in our sport. Doesn't hurt that they build the baddest buggies on the planet!!

At a Glen Helen race, we had climbed to the top of the grandstand during a practice session and sat next to this older gentleman wearing a Funco ball cap. We didn't know much about what we were seeing at the time and he spent the next hour explaining all the classes and what they were about to us. Who the drivers were and on and on. It was like having an encyclopedia of offroad racing just for us and no one else.

Before leaving, I asked if he was somehow involved with the Funco group.

His reply "I own it"

Something we'll never forget.
