They have sold this shock with out the adjuster knobs since atleast 2009. They sold through the offroad division and not the powersports division. My Teryx has had 10in travel internal bypass shocks since the 2009 Baja 1000.

I'm aware of that. Having the compression adjusters are a nice thing and it let's you fine tune for the track or terrain.
