After I purchased my 2012 Rhino, one of my first purchases was a custom steering wheel and adapter. After a few returns, I learned that they changed the steering shaft in 2010 and no adapters have been made for them. I swore that I would get my new wheel on there one way or another and last night I finally did. One of the adapters I kept was a two piece one that slid on the old smaller splines and then a one inch piece bolted to it with three bolts that you put the wheel on with six bolts. After a few beers I came up with the idea to cut the middle of the factory wheel out and put it between the two piece adapter. I drilled the bottom piece with the small splines out to one inch and slid the piece I cut out of the factory wheel into it, then bolted the top one inch piece onto it with drilled holes matching in the piece I cut. now it bolts into the shaft and looks like the adapters made for older Rhinos. I am so excited to finally have my after market wheel on and it looks great with all the other blue on my Rhino. Below are some pics of what I did along with a pic of the old factory wheel with the center cut out.
