CDM HellRaiserXP1K Cognito BITD build

CoopDawg Motorsports (CDM) has been getting their feet wet in the AVE Racing Series in California City, but wants to step up to the big leagues in the Pro UTV class of Best In The Desert and possibly SCORE.

They were racing a 2 seat Polaris RZR XP1000 but after seeing the Cognito HellRaiserXP1K desert build and going for a ride, Cooper decided to change gears and have Cognito build a new car.

The build commenced several weeks back, so the chassis is nearly complete, we will go ahead and show you the rest of the build from here on out. Current status pics here!

I had just bought one and didn't realize the one on sparks site is 4.5"outside dia. instead of 4".

Justin, show the public all of the lazer cut and cnc bent tabs and mounts that are behind the dash. There are so many parts on these cars that are amazing. Parts the size of a playing card computer designed and made. Like the fuse box holder. Air intake braket.

Coming together nicely!

Customer chose Corbeau seats, they have a nice look, side bolsters, and are one of the lightest suspension seats out there at 20-21 lbs.

MasterCraft safety on the Restraints.

Rugged Radios for the intercom and radio system.

The arms look like they are lengthened. What track width are you running, and is the wheelbase still stock at 90"?

A little shakedown and break in, then it will race next weekend at the BITD Blue Water Desert Challenge in Parker AZ.

It is getting a wrap also, although i think it looks pretty mean in race car raw!

-2014 Polaris RZR 4 XP1000

-Cognito HellRaiserXP1K chassis

-Cognito +4" long travel kit, heavy duty tie rod kit, radius rod cage, 300M axles

-ITP Terracross 30x10R14 tires

-Method Racing Wheels, 14x7 beadlocks

-Sparks Performance Products full exhaust kit, clutch tuning kit, engine fuel and timing tuning, cylinder head porting and high compression pistons

-FOX Internal Bypass shocks setup by Cognito, 2.5" front and 3.0" rear

-Rugged Radios communications system

-Factory UTV skid plate custom for Cognito chassis

-Mystik Lubricants Hi-performance grease for cv joints and hi-performance full synthetic oil for engine.
