Off Road Community! My name is BC Vaught from rOtation Sports Management and I work with great ATV & Snowmobile athletes, The Moore Brothers, aka Caleb & Colten Moore, along with Marco Picado and other athletes... I'm writing to you to ask for your help with something close to home.
A good friend of mine, Jason Ochoa, who you can find in Glamis with his family often through the winter time, has been unable to work for the last 4 months and recently got diagnosed.. Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. This tears my heart apart as he has 3 kids, Jade, 11, Jake, 14, and Justin, 16. His middle child, Jake, is a good friend of my son's as they've gone to school together since they started years back.
When Jason met with the doctor to discuss his prognosis, the doctor told him to take a family vacation to spend quality time with his family before they start him on chemotherapy, which will not cure the cancer, but will simply give him more time.. He won't be able to travel once he starts the chemo.
I'm asking that our friends in the off road community please donate to help with this family vacation. Unfortunately with Jason not having been able to work the last 4 months, he's broke and needs our help to make this family vacation to Maui happen. He has always wanted to see the sunrise from Mt. Haleakala.
We have had some very gracious friends pay for some of the flights, we've gotten the condo all taken care of.. We need more funding to help with the rest of the vacation, plus some extra funding to help him pay his medical premium each month so he can continue to get his treatments once he starts them upon his return.
