Can-Am Body panels

The Maverick is way over-engineered in regards to the number of body panels that it uses, and how they interlock with one another. There are approx. 27 plastic pieces total. 19 in the front clip alone! Can-am now offers a poly carbonate (Lexan) one piece replacement for the front clip, which we'll be using soon. It takes 1/2 of a day just to bolt on the front end (body) to the chassis! I dread the day that we have an electrical issue in the dash area during a race. DOWN TIME!

Are you going to put the new front end on with a hinge so you can tilt it up?

I'll probably use a hood pin type of mount. Possibly a draw latch if it is necessary to align the one piece to the adjacent panel(s).
