Broc Dickerson

On the podium representing Black Rhino this weekend in Rounds 9 and 10 was Broc Dickerson. Dickerson was pulling double duty in both the JR1 and JR2 Kart classes. In the Dickerson Motorsports #1 JR1 Kart in Friday’s practice Dickerson was third. In qualifying for both rounds Dickerson was seventh. In Saturday’s Round 9 Dickerson started in the fifth position. By lap one he had moved up to third and into first by lap two. He held that position until the #288 of Conner McMullen was able to pass him for the lead with Dickerson finishing second on the box for the day. In Sunday’s Round 10 the #1 started in seventh and quickly moved up to second by the completion of lap one. On lap two Dickerson passed the #230 of Blaze Nunley to take over the lead and remained there to the checkered flag putting him and his sponsors on the top of the box for the podium celebration. Broc Dickerson sits second in Championship Points in the JR1 Kart class, eight points out of first.
In the Dickerson Motorsports #423 JR2 Kart, Dickerson was fifth in practice and qualified seventh on Friday. In Saturday’s Round 9 after starting seventh Dickerson quickly moved up to sixth in lap two where he battled to hold that position. On the last lap he was able to move up into fifth to cross the checkered flag for a top five
finish. In Sunday’s Round 10, it was a repeat of the following day with the #423 crossing the finish line in fifth for another top five finish. In the JR2 Kart class Dickerson is fourth in Championship Points.


Kamrin Dickerson

Kamrin Dickerson in the Dickerson Motorsports #223 JR1 Kart ran seventh in practice on Friday and qualified ninth. In Saturday’s Round 9, Kamrin started eighth in the pack of 13. By lap seven she had moved up to seventh and into sixth by lap ten where she finished out the race. In Sunday’s Round 10, the #223 started in tenth position. Quickly falling back to twelfth after the green flag Kamrin was able to work her way back up to ninth by the checkered flag giving her two top ten finishes for the weekend. Kamrin Dickerson is ninth in JR2 Kart Championship Points.


Dylan Winbury

Dylan Winbury missed Friday’s practice but made it to qualifying where he qualified fifth driving the Wagon Burners #469 JR2 Kart. In Saturday’s main, Winbury started on the front row in second. He immediately dropped back to fourth but was able to gain ground. He battled with the #485 of Jeremy Davis for third place until lap 10 when he was able to secure that spot and hang on to it until the checkered flag. In Sunday’s Round 10, Winbury started in fourth position and immediately shot up to third. By lap eight he was in second place and on lap eleven he completed the pass to take the lead from the #405 of Shelby Anderson putting him on top of the box with a first place finish. Winbury said "Saturday was a tough race. It was really hot and my visor kept opening. I was just happy to get on the podium. On Sunday I started fifth and I knew I was going to have to work hard to get up front but I did it and I got first. It was a great weekend. I can't wait for Reno." Dylan Winbury sits first in Championship Points in JR2 Karts.


Jaydn Winbury
Jaydn Winbury in the Wagon Burners #202 JR1 Kart also missed practice Friday but was able to make qualifying where he qualified eleventh. In Saturday’s Round 9, the #202 crossed the finish line in tenth
place and finished 11
th in Sunday’s Round 10. The weekend ended with Jaydn Winbury tenth in Championship Points in JR1 Karts. Jaydn said "I had a lot of fun and I'm feeling confident on my passing. I can't wait for the next race"

Bryan Osborn

Bryan Osborn pulled "Double Duty" running not only LOORRS but WORCS on Saturday as well. Osborn, driving the Black Rhino #54 Superlite, was running ninth in practice on Friday and qualified tenth. In Saturday’s Round 9, Osborn started from row five, ninth position. By lap five he had worked his way up to seventh. A few mishaps dropped him to the back of the field by lap eight but in the end he was able to pull off a top ten finishing in ninth place. In Sunday’s Round 10, the #54 again started in row five, tenth position. By lap two Osborn had moved up to seventh position but as the weekend ended he finished in ninth with another top ten. Bryan Osborn is eleventh in Championship Points in the Superlite Class.

Cody Rahders

In Friday’s practice, Cody Rahders in his #16 Superchips/K&N/Black Rhino SuperLite Championship race truck posted fastest lap and top speed. In qualifying he qualified second by .012 seconds. After racing WORCS in Anza Saturday, Rahders headed back to Glen Helen to for Round 9. Starting in row two inside Rahders and the leader checked out on the field until lap eight when he suffered a blow out in
the right rear. After it was changed he reentered the race one lap down in twelfth place. At the restart Cody began working his way up through the pack moving from twelfth place to finish the night in sixth. After
suffering flat tires at Glen Helen, Miller Motorsports Park, Speed World, and Lake Elsinore Rahders hooked up with Toyo supplying him with a new set of tires for the #16.
For Sunday’s Round 10 Rahders was again lined up inside row two and by lap four had a commanding lead thanks to the new found traction with Toyo Tires. At the restart he again pulled away but with a late race wreck a green/white/checker restart was in order. As the green dropped he bicycled the truck in turn two and went from first to fourth. He then managed to get back into second on the white flag lap but at the top of turn four ended up spinning out and finishing seventh for the night.
"Toyo Tires! I could put the truck anywhere on the track and it would stick. I had no idea a tire could work that good. We’re so close, with my new Toyo's and the new track in Reno it’s going to be so fun, I can’t wait!" said Rahders. Cody Rahders and the #16 are sixth in Championship Points.

Ryan Beat in the Hart & Huntington #51 Prolite was first in practice Friday with a time of 52.560. He also posted the fastest speed of 54.795. Beat qualified fifth in his group and tenth after the two groups were merged. In Saturday’s main starting in tenth position Beat was fifth by lap eight and crossed the finish line in sixth place giving him another top 10 finish. In Sundays main after starting ninth Beat slowly worked his way up to fifth by lap fifteen and on the last lap he took fourth at the checkered flag. Ryan Beat ends the weekend sitting third in Championship Points in the Prolite Class.
