I am about to take delivery of my race Teryx. When I started the build I was debating a Nessie car from Dragonfire racing. I thought I would be seeing them out by now but I have not seen any. Anyone know of any and how they are doing?

The DFR Nessys have done well in the Baja SCORE series, where the class is a sportsman class, but hadn't been legal for BITD racing. But I understand, DFR has or is homologating them to be legal.
Hans(Tatum) on here has one I believe, single seat version that he runs short course racing with.
They are quite impressive cars.
Hans, can you chime in and tell us more about the Nessy...

I have raced against one here in indiana. it is fast and handles well
but the guy who owns it has not been able to finish a race with it seems like he has bad luck.the last race I pulled him on the start and was even able to keep a good lead on him until I went flying off course.I did win the the race though but again he has had bad luck and broke down

Hans raced the "nessie" at Whiplash in August, blown rear diff took him out of the race...

I have the original Nessie car.It is slightly different than the production cars in that it is a little bit shorter and has factory Kawi frame. The production cars are a all tube chassis and are also more roomy inside.ITP owns one and won the San Felipe 250 in it.I think there have been about 5 built and some have gone to Europe.I drove the ITP car in Plaster City and was very impressed with it even though it was setup for a much shorter driver.I am not sure if BITD would allow these cars as there rule definition of production car is vague and they dont seem to like competition in the pro class. If I want to race BITD I have to race sportsman because I only have one seat.
