After the tragic accident at the MDR California 200 in Lucerne on August 14th, the Off-Road community looked for ways to raise money for the victims and families affected. 4130 Clothing is dedicated in supporting the Off-Road Racing community and immediately contacted Fast-Aid to find out ways we could assist in raising money for those who were affected. Together with Fast-Aid we were able to design and produce the California 200 Memorial T-shirt. The California 200 Memorial Shirts became available for sale online at 4130 Clothing | Home, on August 30. With the help of Off-Road Community members and racers, together we have raised $10,000.00 in just three weeks.
4130 Clothing received an outpour of support from the Off-Road Community, and to help raise awareness and sales 4130 Clothing participated in many local events. The shirts and stickers were sold at the Dezert People 8 Premier at K1 Speed in Carlsbad, CA on August 29th. A special thanks to Off Road Warehouse (ORW) who offered the shirts for sale in several of their stores in San Diego County. On September 11th, Lucas Oil made it possible for 4130 Clothing to sell the California Memorial Shirts and Stickers during the 2010 Lucas Oil Outdoor National Finals at Pala Raceway. On September 15th, 4130 Clothing sold the California Memorial Shirts during Off Road Nights at Temecula Stamped. Selling out the remaining of the California 200 Memorial Shirts at this year’s Sand Super Sport Show at the OC Fair grounds September 17-19th.

Not only does 4130 produce their own line of motorsports specific apparel, but they have also branched out to assist many other race teams, off road forums, and other affiliates of the off road world with their apparel and accessory programs. Many more fundraisers are planned for the future and with the help of Fast-Aid 4130 will be able to raise a good amount of money for fallen racers and their families over the next several years.
4130 stands behind and supports their driver, Brett Sloppy, and will continue to support him throughout his entire racing career should he wish to pursue it in the future.
