Polaris 2014 RZR 570 LE BROKEN REAR LEFT CV AXLE AT 7 HOURS

Had my 2014 RZR 570 LE for 3 weeks, never got to take it off of our property on a trip. I was riding the trail in our pasture when the left rear CV joint broke causing the RZR to abruptly roll over in a slow (8 mph) right hand turn. My hand was crushed by the prominent seat belt nut in the roll cage. Surgeon says that he is not sure that I will have full use of my hand again. Please be careful with this model RZR - the cv joint snapped without warning at 7.7 hours. Polaris picked up my RZR and there has been zero resolution to the investigation as of yet. They have my vehicle still. Be advised folks - so glad that no one was hurt worse or killed. This was a brand new machine.

Highly recommend inspecting/upgrading axles on the 570 asap.....obviously the rest of the machine is solid since I am still here and alive to discuss this issue. I am not giving up on Polaris to remedy this issue and to promote a safer machine.

How is your hand doing?

Next post-op appointment is this upcoming Monday.....cast off and pins are coming out. Looking forward to it......hopefully I will be in a splint or brace afterwards. Polaris has since reached out to me and I think that we are close to a resolution.
