2012 So Cal Rides and Events

Ok need some help newbie to So cal and UTV’s here. Trying to read through all the threads from what I gather Soboba weekend of 1-13, King of Hammers my b-day weekend 2-3. Both races I see I can volunteer for free admission & other perks, bring the UTV but not for group rides?

Soboba’s website said I have to be “radio savy†to volunteer but I don’t have a radio?

KOH not sure where is the website?

Also some event at the KOA by Glamis north side?

What else is good to go see or ride?

Rubicon or something like that?

Just like to get all this in one place so I can make sense of it….

Got it so PB you all haul your rigs and utvs to these races to volunteer? If you don’t race why do you haul your utvs? I mean I seen you wrote you do night rides but I only have stock lights.

I’m only 1.5 hrs from Soboba a motorbike ride Sunday mains maybe and have family 30 mins from KOH.

Not sure if I wanna haul or not. Is it worth it? I’ve never been to either event but have been to many years of national mx quad races we use to race. Too bad Trever and his quad were not here we’d win the quad pro purse.

Terry - KOH is a little different. There will be lots of "great rides" and "race watching". The main race is Friday. We'll be there the entire week before. Doing rides, checking out Hammertown, watching LCQ races, Utv races, Everyman chanllenge races and much more. There's a ton of stuff to do and see.

Soboba will be fun also. Just not the long rides like last week. More hanging out, being involved with the racers and of course, the casino at night........
