ATR Caleb Moore Polaris RZR Backflip
Caleb Moore along with All Terrain Research team will be attempting the first ever UTV back-flip in a Polaris RZR. The backflip attempt is scheduled for November 2nd at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Xperience set for week of SEMA at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Caleb Moore had approached ATR with the concept of how to backflip a Polaris RZR and the team immediately got to work designing the ramp and custom UTV.
“We had always thought that a backflip could be done with a UTV, when Caleb came to us with his idea we jumped on board right away coming up with design ideas,” said ATR’s owner Jeremy Bratcher.
Over the course of several months Caleb Moore and All Terrain Research collaborated to fabricate a monstrous freestyle ramp and one of the wildest UTVs ever designed. The stage is set for this stunt to be performed in front of thousands of people at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Xperience in Las Vegas, NV November 2nd. Lucas Oil Off Road Xperience Set for week of SEMA at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
CORONA, Calif. (October 6, 2011) –In less the a month Wednesday, November 2nd, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will be hosting the first-ever Lucas Oil Off Road Xperience to take place during the week of SEMA and just a few days prior to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which is scheduled for November 5th and 6th.
The Lucas Oil Off Road Xperience is a unique event where industry and fans alike will be bused from SEMA out to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to experience all that makes the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series such an incredible event.
Included in the Xperience will be a celebrity minibike race among some of the top drivers in the sport, a quad freestyle MX show, a Team Associated R/C truck demo, and the anticipated first-ever backflip in a UTV to dirt. There will also be a DJ and live music from the Kicker Livin’ Loud Stage on the premises.
But the reason it’s called the “Lucas Oil Off Road Xperience” is because the headliner of the event is that there will be ride-alongs in two-seater versions of genuine off-road race vehicles like those that compete at every round of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
Don’t worry, though, if you’re not daring enough to get in the passenger seat, there will also be pro-driver demos taking place throughout the event, so you can check out the skill from the sidelines, too.
The Lucas Oil Off Road Xperience is to be held from 7-10 p.m. on November 2nd, and it’s free to the public.
The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series partners who are making this Xperience possible include: Kicker Audio, Rockstar Energy, Team Associated, General Tire, Hart and Huntington, and of course Lucas Oil.
