Some of you might not live close to Rocky Mountain ATV/MC or a parts house that has a vast supply of tires. Here are some numbers for you.

My objective was to find the lightest tire/wheel combination in an 8 Ply 28" tall on a 14" beadlock wheel for my 2014 XP1K.

Wheels 14x7
- Hiper Dual Beadlock - 14 pounds 12 Ounces
- ITP Beadlocks - 17 pounds 12 ounces

Tires 28x10x14 - (8 Ply)
- Mongrel - 30 Pounds 7 ounces
- Coronado - 28 Pounds 7 Ounces
- Baja Cross - 34 Pounds 5 Ounces

I ended up going with the Hipers and the Coronados (Most expensive option unfortunately). So far I have put two WORCS Races (Primm) and about 75 miles of harsh square edged rocks desert riding on them with no failures at high speeds. I am still going to put some tire blocks on them once they can figure out how to mount on dual beadlocks with no removable center hub cap.

And MUCH more durable. Between two of buddies they broke 6 hyper wheels racing short course while I haven't broke a single dwt

Method Race Wheels 401 UTV Beadlock with billet ring and grade 8 hdw 14.2 lbs with a 1600lb load rating
Tensor Tire 14x28x10 33 lbs 8 ply steel belted. Very grovable. I have seen this tire groved down to 29 lbs and not fail at a WORCS Race
