Wheel offset???

So as some of you may already know the T2 wheels don't always crossover to the T4. My sand tire setup from my '08 is on a set of Douglas red labels. The rears bolt up without issue. The front wheels do not (5+3 offset) as they hit the tie rod.

So the question is what are your thoughts about fliipping them around and running it as a (3+5) basically? Or should I track down a set of 4+4's? I don't want to run spacers. I guess my concerns are wear and tear on steering and hub components.

Another thing to consider is that the T4 has 12mm studs I believe the older T2's are smaller.

Yeah I had to drill mine out to fit the lugs on the '08
