Ouch, I didn't know you got hit by a Jeep. That's tough. I got hit by a Cherokee at an ECORS race. I don't see why those guys even care if we pass them. Doesn't make sense to me.

That was really the only thing I didn't like about this race. I'm only seeing it from the outside since I didn't actually get to drive on course with any bigger vehicles, but it looked like a ton of cars on one course at one time. It seemed especially detrimental to UTV's since we carry so much more speed than the bigger guys.

Do you think there is any possibility of the UTV's racing prior to the other classes? Since the UTV class only races for one hour, racing separately might be an option. I don't know though, it might be completely fine as it is. What do you think?

I had an absolute blast, though. I'll be back with a smile on my face either way. :D

What vehicle were you driving? How did you end up?

they wont run 2 diff races cause he dont want to shut park down early or have the other rigs run to late.most of the time it is not to bad they usally move as soon as they see us coming but I lost my horn on 2nd lap so we were yelling and flashing our lights but that didnt work out to well.I had the white rzr s that was on your passenger side at the start.some how I got out front and held it to floor and was able to pull away lap traffic held us up a bit but finished first about a min ahead of 2nd.

Yeah, I was afraid you were going to say that. I understand their position on racing late. That's one thing that makes the Rally Raid series so cool. It's all about UTV's and the track is crazy fast. You should try to come out to the next UTVRR race. I guarantee you'll like it.

Ah, I was wondering what this big jump was all about. Unfortunately, we didn't get to pre-run that part of the course and we also didn't make it that far on the first lap (broken clutch belt).

I'm itching to get back out there. That course is awesome and it gets better every minute I sit here and wish I was back at the race. :D We'll definitely be there for the next one.

Thanks for posting the photos.

thanks for the pics spangs.yea I heard the was a big reaction about the jeep hitting me but it is racing and my horn broke so I will take half the blame on that one.I think I was more mad I didnt want to take chance on hitting the big jump after that than I was about getting hit.If you know of anyone who might have got video of the start I would really like to see it.

bmzero I found this from last year on you tube gives you an idea about the big jump it is right across from the office it doesn't look big on video but when you walk up and see where you take off and land it makes you think I am the 1st one in video going over jump
