The tire dilemma!

I thought it would be approriate to ask this question in here, seeings how you guys log the most miles over varying terrain. My dilemma is this, I have searched the pages of forums and can't quite get my questions answered on recommended tire size and wheel combos. I have a 2013 xp 900, I really don't want to mess with stock clutching or fender modification (unless that is the consensus.)

What I have gathered so far for common sizes are either 235/75/15 or 215/75/15. Reputable manufacture BFG, GENERAL, TOYO. Wheels Method or KMC.

Lastly I live in North Idaho and will be covering a lot of fire roads to paved roads. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

I know that a 28x10 tire will fit on a stock suspension setup and the car will still run very well and new clutching is not needed. It will also clear without having to cut the plastics. Ant bigger and I believe is where your concerns will come into play. Also from what I have seen is a better variety with a 14 inch wheel if you're open for that.

30" itp ultra cross is where it's at. BITD and baja1000 proven by cognito Motorsports. Ran stock width suspension and 4/3 itp type 7 beadlock wheels. Not sure about trimming fenders because we had the 'race cut' on ours. Utvguide.net did a shoot out on tires a year ago or more with stock fenders

If your racing I 100 % agree with Cognito 30's the way to go. You said you didnt want to trim fenders or re-clutch the car. I can tell you for a fact that with a 30 you will have to cut the fenders ( on a stock suspension setup ) and clutch the car. I ran a 28 Mongrel with a 14inch Walker Evans beadlock for two years and never lost a belt and still had great performance.

Thanks guys for your response! I'm leaning toward 28" tires (as I will not be racing). What are your thoughts on wheel size 14 or 15 more sidewall or less? Cognito who would you recommend as a itp dealer?
