All UTV's Tensor Tire - Anyone tried these?

I found these new tires at the last worcs race, they look like they'd work pretty well! Like Mongrels but with a little more of a flat contact patch. I'm curious if any of you guys have tried them? I'm about due for some new rubber for next worcs season...

My understanding is these tires will not be released until Feb-March 2015. The pricing on the site is new, and is a bit more then I was expecting. This is one of the tires on my list of consideration for our next Baja trip.

The prices for these tires are getting ridiculous. I've got a hard time paying that much for tires for my truck or car.

the way i see it:

28-30"
8 ply
steel belted inner and outer

thats gonna be a belt killer. that tire on a set of 14-15" wheels is gonna be 70+lbs your typical 6ply 30" ATV tire is 50lbs mounted on wheels.

they may be indestructible on the trails, but at what cost? driveline and bearing failures from so much load, and belt failures from trying to pull such a heavy tire?

I agree. Have you priced tires on cars/trucks lately? Cost of rubber is going up more than gold.

The tire weights will be with in 1 to 2 lbs of existing UTV tires on the market but with light truck tire construction. We have a good number of R&D and track hours on these bad boys. Soon there will be a press release. Tires are estimated to be here in March for the public. Here is a shot Of Chase Warren at a WORCS race at Primm showing us the tread design on the right front.
