I was just reading on FB that finding a XP900 is extremely hard and Polaris stop manufacturing them. Is this true? If so is it just th 1k, 800 and 570 now?

I sure hope not. I think that if Polaris had any plans of stopping the production of the XP900 they would've made some sort of press release.

I haven't heard anything about it until now either. But I did a little search and seen a few people say nobody has xp900 in stock anymore. Figured I'd anybody would know it would be the here.

My local dealer is only listing 1000 models as "in stock"...interesting

Maybe the price incentives for 900's outweigh the sticker shock for a 1000.....and people are buying up the 900's

Last year for the 900s. The 1000 will be the new 900 and polaris is going to put an 1100 cc plus motor in the current 1000 chasis

That's not a smart move in my opinion. Lots of people want to have a ballsy UTV like the 900 without having to pay $20k+ for a 1K

I have not heard anything either way, but I would suspect it to be discontinued. Why keep 2 sport models.

I would find it hard to beleive they would go over 1000cc since they past the law on helmets under 1000cc. Plus there is plenty of potential with this size engine for more hp.

Wouldn't keeping the 900 mean having 3 sport models? The 800S, 900, and 1K?

I guess the people who want to do tight trail riding will have to stick with an 800 model if the 900 is discontinued.

I think the guys riding trails will figure it out. Those were the exact words everyone said about the 900 too..."Man i sure with the 800 was better, faster, strong" The 900 is too big for trails.

I bet they keep the 800's for a while and ditch the 900.

The price difference is steep but if you want a sport machine it will leave no doubt what you will be buying.

The 800 still sells. Especially to trail riders that want the 800 over the 570 even though its not much better in reality.

My guess would be a 50" 570, an 800 S, and the 1000 will be left once the dust settles.

About a month ago this very subject was talked about on the RZR forum. Someone with a connection to a dealer rep had mentioned the phasing out of the current XP 900 platform. There was some speculation that the 900 engine could live on and be used in a revised RZR-S platform. But as it was said here, why have two sport models with similar engine & suspension. I dont know how many have noticed, but the 900 is no longer labeled with the XP, and they are only offering a single color in base & LE models vs all the other RZR models. There is also very little advertizing of the 900 on the Polaris site.

Oh rzr forum members and there conections  lol

Im with you on that, but in this case this very subject was talked about. So whatever connection or non connection they have they were discussing this awhile ago. I'm guessing we will have a good idea by July, isn't that when Polaris has the their new model dealer show?

Hype, speculation, and pure made up Bullsh!t. Don't believe any of the internet rumors anymore.
