sr1 mud flaps?

what mud flaps is everyone using on their sr1's? And where are you getting them? thanks

mud flaps have been discontinued by lucas. but if you need them try a truck stop or supply thats where most racers got them. lucas is requiring a steel mesh or screen in the windshield area instead. hope that helps

While LOORRS UTV's don't require them, they are still necessary for the SR1 class. I got some fantastic material from a belt/hose place in Phoenix - it's conveyer belt material in just the right thickness....since it's belted, the rubber won't break off from flexing back and forth. Also, IMS sells some rubber sheets that might work also....I need to order another spare set, just in case. I believe Tyler H actually ordered generic mudflaps and just cut them down to size, too...several options available! . Is your SR1 all done??

thanks everyone!! And Corry, no it is not quite done . but i am hoping i will take it for the first drive sometime this weekend. Waiting for the aluminum to be finished so i can put all of the electronics on the fire wall. Then i have to mount the fuel cell and hook up the fuel pump. I think that is it though!!

We just got big rig flaps, and cut them in half.... i am glad the SR1's have to keep them.
